The Hermanus Wine Route is nestled away in the Hemel-en-Aarde valley. The valley provides the perfect micro climate for growing some of the countries best Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc vines. The wine estates all produce excellent quality wines. They are open to the public for tasting, and buying direct from the farm always provides a good saving.

The nearby farms include Whalehaven Wines, Bouchard Finlayson, Sumaridge and Cape Bay Wines. A little further away lie the Beaumont Wines which are also well worth the visit.
